Appia FIX Engine with High Availability Module : Allows for maximum speed and throughput as well as database replication with a finely tuned, highly optimised database. Appia FIX Engine with HA Module provides a robust high availability environment utilizing a primary/secondary configuration to ensure that a server is constantly available with the most recent trade information. This configuration is able to support multiple servers in a distributed configuration to optimize processing. It achieves fail over quickly and securely. Server replication and disk mirroring are no longer necessary.

Appia FIX Engine Toolkit :
FIXometer Network Monitor – This application will allow you to monitor all of the connections for the Appia FIX Engine servers, either local in one location or remotely over a WAN only provided that the engine is not behind a firewall. The monitor will quickly indicate (visually and audibly) the status of each connection by server, whether it is up or down and the number of messages inbound and outbound. Additionally, all session maintenance may be performed through FIXometer, including: End of Day procedures run, put on hold, released, sequence numbers can be reset. If High Availability is used, FIXometer will display all servers in the cluster and differentiate between the primary and secondary server .

Messaging Simulator – The FIX messaging simulator is a developer's application, which can receive orders, send executions, process cancels or cancel/replaces and send busted orders. A GUI displays all of the messages that have been sent and received, and allows the user to highlight a message and display the actual FIX tag names and values instead of just the FIX field numbers. Additionally, it contains a built-in ECN module with a book viewer GUI capable of matching orders and receiving FIX market data feeds. Its extensibility, via the API we provide, enables users to write custom components implementing any kind of customized messaging logic, or handle these different components across different connections simultaneously.

Test Scripts - These are fully documented Java programs, which serve as testing tools and also provide starting points for integration efforts. These sample programs cover each of our interfaces. They may be used to create and test different scenarios, such as sending 1,000 orders, or receiving 1,000 executions.

Configurator - To simplify the maintenance of configuration files, this tool reads preexisting configuration files for modification or provides new files you can edit to suit your needs. Counter parties can be added and connection parameters changed.
