Shihab Khalil
Chief Executive Officer

Shihab founded TradeSoft in 2005, and has overseen the growth of the company from its humble beginnings to become a leading provider of financial IT solutions in the Middle East. Shihab'’s distinguished background in software engineering and consulting, and his business acumen (MBA) combined with an entrepreneurial and visionary approach, makes him the ideal leader to steer TradeSoft on its future mission to be the industry leader and largest provider of e-trading solutions for the Middle East financial and capital markets.

Russel Rao
General Manager

Russel Rao is a highly experienced IT professional, with an impressive record of achievement spanning 14 years in the software and consultancy services industry, and in the Banking and Financial Services arena and other industries. He has an extensive technical background, having worked in a variety of roles as a Lead Architect, Project Manager, Integration Manager and Technical Manager on a range of large, complex projects, covering Commercial off-the-shelf, online and n-tier application solutions. As General Manager, Russel is in charge of ensuring the strategy and resources of the company are in place to deliver on its financial and organizational goals.

Ather Khan
Head of Business Development

Ather Khan is a senior executive with more than 20 years of Technology Management experience in the areas of distribution, hardware, software, network infrastructure, telecommunications and data communications support. He has lead IT teams for major Investment Banking firms for last 15 years. With a strong technology background and a proven ability to communicate, manage and negotiate effectively with C-Level Management on business and technical matters– Ather’s role is to manage all sales and marketing activities, and to drive the strategy required to achieve Orion TradeSoft'’s business development and market penetration objectives.

Neil Henderson
Head of Strategic Initiatives

With over a decade in business and IT management, Neil’s experience extends across the areas of marketing, media, multimedia, risk analysis and systems analysis and design. A long standing member of the British Computer Society and the US-based Information Systems Auditing and Control Association (ISACA), and with expertise in a variety of IT governance frameworks, audit processes, and business process modeling and reengineering techniques, Neil’s role within TradeSoft is continually to improve internal processes and methods, to build on the efficiencies and quality within the company and its development life cycles, and ensure compliance with these professional standards.

Anas Matar
Professional Services and Support Manager

With a background in IT Service Management, Project Management and IT Operations Management, Anas has a proven ability to provide quality solutions to complex business problems within scope, budget and tight schedules. As a professionally qualified ITIL Service Manager, he has the required expertise to manage and deliver TradeSoft'’s Professional Services and Support Services. His role is to build and manage the systems and resources necessary to respond efficiently to the needs of all our external clients, and to ensure that our new clients receive the best possible professional services to facilitate their implementations of our technology and solutions.

Khaled Alia
Manager, Orion TradeSoft (Amman)

Mr. Khaled Alia has over 14 years of technical IT experience in the banking industry. His last engagement was with a leading IT Service and Enterprise Solution Provider in Jordan (STS), where he was the Senior Technical Manager, and Developer Services and Operations Group Manager, within the Software Services Division. At our Jordan-based office in Amman, where our future focus on software development and quality assurance resides, Khaled will be responsible for managing the production and testing of our software products.
